Just like everywhere else in the country, the state of Montana has suffered some serious backlash of the housing crunch. Market values have been down and home values began to plummet, however, it now looks like there is some good news on the horizon. Nationwide the market is on an upward climb; however, Montana is proving to be one of the flagship states that are leading the charge. Home values are growing, foreclosure statistics are down and overall equity value is improving, and not to soon for residents. One of the largest contributing factors in this rise of Montana homes sales is having some very savvy Realtors that know how to market a home successfully, in spite of economic woes. Those Realtors that spent time staging, marketing and getting better than fair market value for their customers are to be commended and rewarded for their efforts. The amount of homes for sale in Montana has currently dropped, and much of that reason is due to these successful men and women in the real estate profession moving past the gloom and doom headlines and making things happen for their clients. This is also one of the main reasons we are seeing Montana’s economy and real estate market on a steady upward climb.
