We are looking for Montana farm and ranch real
estate and if you know of any please drop me an email and I will get
back to you ASAP.
Montana has ranch and farm from the Idaho border in the West to
North Dakota along it's eastern border and from Canada in the North
to the Wyoming border in the south. Bill wants to concentrate his
efforts in the western part of Montana roughly from Great Falls to
Bozeman to Butte to Missoula. This is considered the mountain
country of Montana and as the real estate agents say - "location,
location, location". Whenever you are dealing with Real Estate, the
location is a very important factor in deciding for or against a
particular piece of property. You may want land that is within a
reasonable distance from where you will be working. If you have
children or plan to, you will want to be close to schools as well.
Also, you will want to make sure that the land that you are
investing in is going to rise in value. Investing in land in Montana
is a great way to insure the value of your property will rise.
The rivers of western Montana, the Bitterroot, the Blackfoot, and
the Clark Fork are tributary to the Columbia while the Madison, the
Jefferson, the Big Hole, the Gallatin and
the Yellowstone flow into the Missouri Basin. All have fantastic
trout fishing potential with trophy Brown and Rainbow taken every
year. The chapters of “Trout Unlimited” are very active in western
Montana and have promoted the classification of “Blue Ribbon Trout
Stream” for many reaches of these streams.
